What is the project about?
The project “Building the capacity of Adult Education Trainers to comply with the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu)” (DIGITA), Co-funded by the European Commission under the umbrella of the Programme Erasmus+ INDIRE, is a 24 months Strategic Partnership for Adult Education which involves eight private and public entities.
The partners of the project are international youth NGOs, Chambers of Commerce, Research Institutes, Non-profit Associations and Educational Centres for Consultancy from seven different countries (Italy, Cyprus, Romania, Spain, Serbia, Denmark, Greece). All of them are involved in the implementation of the foreseen activities.
What is the aim?
The main aim of the project is to facilitate the development of digital competences of adult education trainers and other personnel who support adult learners in diverse sectors and activities, based on the EC’s Digital Competencies Framework. We intend to achieve this aim through Promoting innovative pedagogies and methods for teaching, learning and assessment that will support educators and learners to use digital technologies in creative, collaborative and efficient ways.
What about the tangible results?
The target of the action are adult education trainers and other personnel who support adult learners.
